Monday 17 June 2013. Nottingham. Moved to Nottingham Gateway Motel, Cinderhill

Today we said goodbye to our generous host Edna in Radcliffe on Trent and moved to the other side of the city for a few days.

On the way we went into the city to stock up on breakfast items as we had decided that the hotel breakfasts were too expensive for what we eat. We bought a toaster and a few other bits and pieces so we could have cereal, fruit, yoghurt and toast. We also called into the O2 shop in the city centre to get the O2 Guru to look at our laptop as the O2 broadband was playing up.

Lyn also found a lovely Swarovski shop in the Victoria Centre in town and bought some nice Swarovski items as they are much cheaper here. Mick bought a 400g block of Toblerone for £3 ($4.80) and some packs of four Energiser AA and AAA Lithium batteries for £5 ($8) each. In Australia they cost $19.95.

Edna & Mick at 7.30am! Edna was leaving for work.

An ASDA store (like Coles or Woolies) at West Bridgford. It has 2 floors.
