This was posted from the ferry the Ben-My-Chree en route from Douglas, Isle of Man to Heysham UK across the Irish Sea.
Today, Saturday 7 September 2013, as the forecast was
for much rain and cold winds, Lyn and Mick had a day of rest to watch the
Formula One qualifying from Monza in Italy, whilst
Davina and Roy went on the Manx Electric Railway to Ramsey just up the coast
from here.
In the evening we had dinner, which Roy and Davina kindly paid for, at a local restaurant called the Mona Lisa in Laxey just down the road. This was to thank Mick for all the driving he had to do to get us around the sights. The food was excellent.
